摘要: Five species of large carnivore are the main focus interest in Sweden when it comes to conservation biological diversity, ecosystem completeness, and traditional herding reindeer (Rangifer tarandus) by indigenous Sami people. Successful work with wolf (Canis lupus), brown bear (Ursus arctos), lynx (Lynx lynx), wolverine (Gulo gulo) golden eagle (Aquila chrysaetos) necessitates good knowledge their numbers, distribution population dynamics as well effects on prey economy. However, carnivores relatively few, elusive, wide ranging secretive, therefore notoriously hard observe. Hence, collecting standardized data sufficient quality quantity is a challenge for both research management. In this chapter, we describe how being met Sweden.
