摘要: This study proposes a computationally efficient hybrid approach to calculating permanent magnet (PM) loss in surface-mounted PM machine (SPMM) over the whole working points. By analysing impact of current amplitude, angle, rotor speed, and temperature on corresponding subdomain results, simplified model that considers harmonic explicitly expresses relationship between point variables is derived. Unlike method, proposed does not involve Fourier expansion or summation large number terms, which simplifies calculation makes under any operating condition can be acquired instantly. Thus, needs for table massive experiments calculations are eliminated. The accuracy this validated against finite element method results six-phase SPMM wide range conditions. However, cross-verification studies demonstrate has good efficiency high precision, making it promising tool online prediction.
