摘要: Background Allergic diseases have become a major public health problem in affluent societies. Microbial colonization early life seems to be critical for instructing regulation on immune system maturation and allergy development children. Even though the oral cavity is first site of encounter between majority foreign antigens system, influence bacteria has not yet been reported. Objective We sought determine bacterial composition longitudinally collected saliva samples during childhood relation development. Methods Illumina sequencing 16S rDNA gene was used characterize at 3, 6, 12, 24 months, 7 years age from children developing allergic symptoms sensitization (n = 47) staying healthy 33) up age. Results Children disease, particularly asthma, had lower diversity salivary together with highly divergent age, showing clearly altered microbiota these individuals, likely as consequence an impaired infancy. Moreover, relative amounts several species, including increased abundance Gemella haemolysans allergies Lactobacillus gasseri L. crispatus children, were distinctive infancy, influencing maturation. Conclusion Early changes microbial seem Future experiments should test probiotic potential isolates.
