摘要: Solving the puzzle of visual attention: towards "homunculus" disintegration? Research on attention, that has revealed diverse nature selection mechanisms, given rise to different theoretical approaches, some which understand attention as a supramodal control system, encountering so-called "homunculus problem". Selection-for-action theories imply an alternative view without such trouble, conceiving like emergent phenomenon from selective bias own system for programming and execution action. From among numerous issues be solved with regard we review few seem clarifying: locus controversy, excitatory/inhibitory discussion about representation units are selected. in temporal dimension seems promising. Altogether, experimental results suggest fragmentation homunculus or, perhaps, first passage its final disintegration.
