摘要: Throughout the world, pregnancy and lactation are considered to be periods of vulnerability well‐being both mother child. Cross‐culturally physiological, metabolic psychological requirements childbirth met differently. This study investigates nutritional medical worldview Tai Dam refugee women living in central Iowa. It focuses on perceptions lactation, dietary beliefs which affect foods consumed during these stages female lifecycle, provides an assessment health implications women. Physician/patient communication is addressed, particularly terms how cultural traditions inhibit utilization available care pregnancy.
