摘要: The paper reports on experimental and theoretical investigations into parasitic loss experienced in the rotor of a prototype 150Nm, 45kW at 3krpm, brushless permanent magnet machine having inset, sintered NdFeB, magnets designed as traction drive for hybrid electric vehicle. investigation identifies quantifies trends function ofmachine stator current excitation shaft speed, while work aims to expand understanding mechanisums enable formulation design criteria minimisation. employes simplifying assumptions that calculation via number 2-D finite element magneto-static field solutions however, such an approach is time consuming, hence development analytic solution distribution airgap has been implemented. Experimental predicted results are presented inset topology controlled pwm overmodulated inverter operating dc (i.e. 120° e discontinuous conduction) switching strategy, together with predictions surface operation machine, either topology, vector oriented sinusoidal controller.
