摘要: Abstract To realize highly effective and continuous fabrication of three-dimensional (3D) sheet metal parts, a new forming method, surface flexible rolling forming, has been investigated. This method takes only two integral rolls as the tool. In process, non-uniform elongation in direction bending deformation thickness occur simultaneously, finally parts are formed. this work, basic principle mechanism studied. A to calculate transversal curvature radius arc-shaped roll is brought forward, while feasibility verified by explicit dynamic finite element analysis. An experimental device developed experiments have performed. Typical 3D including convex saddle obtained. Finite model established effect parameters such reduction, velocity, friction on shape analyzed. The effects errors changes studied deviation results indicate that formed quite close criteria one; gradually keeps within narrow range. measured accuracy show high, consistent with simulation.
