摘要: Abstract Continuous roll forming (CRF) is an effective process to manufacture swept surface parts of sheet metal. The tool in CRF a pair small-diameter bendable rolls, formed continuously after the rotating rolls sweep out whole metal blank. two bent and non-uniformly distributed gap along rolls’ length make longitudinal transverse directions simultaneously, cross-section curve controlled by curved profile spine differential elongations generated gap. In this paper, necessary condition for formation proposed analyzed, parametric equations are derived method determine given presented. numerical simulations analyses on processes demonstrate validity presented theoretical models. experimental measured results show that surfaces good agreement with desired surfaces, precision can be obtained process.
