摘要: A2M is a broad spectrum proteinase inhibitor and cytokine carrier, besides presenting anti-apoptotic activity through the binding to its receptor, LRP. During Trypanosoma cruzi infection, apoptosis of host cells intracellular parasites commonly observed both in vivo vitro. Since plasma as well tissue levels are increased murine human acute T. we evaluated possible role (its methylamine transformed Fast form-A2M-F) regulating apoptotic events peritoneal macrophages cardiomyocytes during vitro interaction with parasite. Our data showed that DNA fragmentation (a hallmark apoptosis) was inhibited by A2M-F. Impaired also noted when A2M-F added cultures maintained under serum deprivation. In addition, from C57/BL6 mice, known display higher LRP compared those C3H lineage, displayed reduction treatment.
