摘要: Abstract In the challenging environment and changing topology of a mine, reliable effective communication is high-stake issue along with objectives safe efficient mining operations. Automation by remote automatic systems have improved workplace health safety for employees, cost-effectiveness, management technical problems, energy saving, real-time response to events. these challenges, wireless sensor networks (WSNs) been widely employed in underground monitoring purpose environmental monitoring, positioning workers equipment, operational system. Considering capabilities WSNs, ZigBee network adapted. this study, common WSNs are evaluated application mines demonstrated why performance suitable such environments. radio waves attenuation investigated evaluate stable range between nodes at straight curved tunnels real mine scenario. Moreover, experimental measurements validated simulation results. Based on analysis results, factors junctions, curvatures fields near far from source assessed. Finally, ranges developed Angas Zinc Mine concluded 100 m 70 m tunnels, respectively. The development compared other also approved.
