MB-OFDM-UWB Based Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks for Underground Coalmine: A Survey.

摘要: Safety production of coalmines is a task top priority which plays an important role in guaranteeing, supporting and promoting the continuous development coal industry. Since traditional wireless sensor networks (WSNs) cannot fully meet requirements comprehensive environment monitoring underground coalmines, multimedia (WMSNs), enabling retrieval information, are introduced to realize fine-grained precise surveillance. In this paper, framework for designing coalmine WMSNs based on Multi-Band Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing Ultra-wide Band (MB-OFDM-UWB) presented. The selection MB-OFDM-UWB transmission solution characteristics coalmines. Network structure design challenges analyzed first, foundation further discussion. Then, key technologies open research areas different layers surveyed, we provide detailed literature review state art strategies, algorithms general solutions these issues. Finally, other issues like localization, information processing, network management discussed.
