摘要: The present study aimed to analyze the effects of sleep restriction (SR) during pregnancy in rats. following three groups were studied: home cage (HC pregnant females remained their cage), Sham (females placed tanks similar SR group but with sawdust) and submitted multiple platform method for 20 h per day from gestational days (GD) 14 20). Plasma corticosterone after 6 was not different among groups. However, relative adrenal weight higher compared HC group, which suggests possible stress impact. reduces body female no changes liver glycogen, cholesterol triglycerides, muscle glycogen detected. On GD 20, fetuses exhibited increased brain derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) hippocampus, indicates that mothers final week gestation may affect neuronal growth factors a fetal structure, active neurogenesis occurs deprivation period. total reactive oxygen species (ROS) cortex, or cerebellum showed major change maternal behavior, pups' preference mother's odor on postpartum (PPD) 7 altered. plasma prolactin (PRL) oxytocin (OT) negative outcomes delivery could be related, part, this hormonal imbalance. Sleep induces described males affects both mother offspring.
