摘要: Abstract A modified technique for the assay of progesterone in blood is presented. The procedure consists three main steps: 1) ether extraction, 2) rapid and complete separation from more polar steroids by use celite column chromatography, 3) radioassay competitive protein binding. This method has a sensitivity 0.1 ng excellent specificity with low values blank samples. precision this comparable other reported methods. offers two advantages comparison previously described procedures. First, chromatography provides cross reacting recovery greater than 75 per cent. Secondly, can be eluted subsequently assayed separately. Thus, easily performed using same serum extract.
