摘要: Indirect immunofluorescence was used to investigate the production of a fibrillar fibronectin matrix by human diploid fibroblasts (IMR-90) as cells progress through their in vitro lifespan. Early and mid-passage cultures displayed prominent reticulum over cell layer which formed within 24 hours seeding. Even sparsely seeded early-passage exhibited fibrils on external surfaces. In contrast, reduced or absent surfaces late-passage cells. However, larger, non-proliferating, were producing fibronectin, 1h determined radioimmunoassay medium.
