摘要: Purpose Basketball is a popular sport involving significant body contact, which may frequently result in ocular trauma. The aim of this study was to evaluate the characteristics and visual outcomes retinal detachment associated with basketball-related injury. Design Retrospective, interventional case series. Methods We reviewed course patients who sustained traumatic from trauma between 2003 2015. Results Thirteen were evaluated for detachment. Twelve (92%) male 1 (8%) female, an average age 18.2 years. majority (9 13, 70%) had moderate-to-high myopia, none using protective eyewear when they eye Rhegmatogenous observed all eyes. preoperative mean acuity 20/625 (range, hand motions 20/20).
