摘要: Purpose There are marked differences in facial skeletal characteristics between Asian and Caucasian. However, ethnic age-related changes have not yet been fully established. The aims of this study were to evaluate midfacial skeletons explore structures with aging Caucasian Asian. Materials methods included 108 men (aged 20-79 years) 115 women 20-81 years). Axial CT images a gantry tilt angle 0 analyzed. We measured three-dimensional (3D) coordinates at each point pixel lens cursor picture archiving communication system (PACS), angles widths the points calculated using 3D vector mathematics. analyzed angular 4 bony regions, including glabellar, orbital, maxillary, pyriform aperture orbital width (distance from posterior lacrimal crest frontozygomatic suture) (between both upper margins aperture). Results All females glabellar maxillary males showed statistically significant decreases aging. On other hand, did show Conclusion results suggest that may change continuously throughout life, there be skeleton sexes groups.
