摘要: Glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor (GDNF), an important for developing and lesioned pre- postganglionic sympathetic neurons, its congeners signal through a receptor complex consisting of the tyrosine kinase c-Ret lipid-anchored alpha (GFR 1-4). Using in situ hybridization we show now that mRNA GFR alpha-2 is abundant adult rat adrenal medulla chromaffin cells. Coexpression alpha-1 mRNA's restricted to scarce subpopulation medullary neurons. Both are associated with preganglionic nerve trunks cortex. It conceivable therefore GDNF related factors may activate Schwann cells GFR-alpha absence c-Ret.
