摘要: Miniature Inverted-repeat Terminal Elements (MITEs), which are particular class-II transposable elements (TEs), play an important role in genome evolution, because they have very high copy numbers and display recurrent bursts of transposition. The 5' 3' subterminal regions a given MITE family often show sequence similarity with the corresponding autonomous Class-II TE family. However, sustained presence over prolonged evolutionary time MITEs master copies able to promote their mobility has been rarely reported within same genome, this raises fascinating questions. We report here P related families Anopheles gambiae genome. Using annotation pipeline we identified analyzed all sequences sequenced A. PEST strain More than 0.49% consists derivates. can be divided into 9 different subfamilies, separated by more 30% nucleotide divergence. Seven them present full length copies. Ten associated 6 out subfamilies. Comparing intra-element diversities structures allows us propose putative dynamics emergence. In particular, one hybrid structure, ends each is P-subfamily, suggests new mechanism for emergence mobility. This work contributes greater understanding relationship between full-length TEs MITEs, case derivatives gambiae. Moreover, it provides most comprehensive catalogue date P- like transposons convincing yet indirect evidence that some subfamilies recently active.
