Computation of Bed Load Using Bathymetric Data

摘要: A method of calculating bed-load transport is presented. This takes advantage the rapid bathymetric surveys that can be made in large rivers. The proposed equation based on sediment continuity and an assumption for base level zero transport. Experimental data were obtained a series flume tests measured rates are compared with calculated using equation. Comparisons also Ackers-White Equation.
