摘要: Abstract Restoration of degraded ecosystem functions and services is an important component conservation sustainable development because it allows people to improve human livelihoods by reviving services. For restoration be achieved a variety factors must in place such as policies, laws, capacity spaces which debate decisions, amongst others. work typically supported projects, requiring participants decide restore so participate action. How the intervention planned or implemented can help hinder that process. Those planning intervening agents, have power influence projects through choices they make. one choice, institutional local partners with outside agencies choose work, thus recognise, another factor influencing success. Poor negative impacts on interventions. This paper uses five case studies from Africa (Burkina Faso, two Ghana, Senegal Tanzania) understand how interventions are impacted choice recognition dynamics agents. While all cases, some was achieved, four case, there were consequences for social outcomes. In fifth project respect knowledge ways stakeholders intended. The ends proposing agents their actions enable achieve objectives, specifically presenting guidance making ensure implementation.
