摘要: Abstract The solvation theories of Abraham and Poole have been applied to gas-liquid partition coefficients, log K, for 62 varied solutes on bis(3-allyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)sulphone, with all K values corrected interfacial adsorption. Application the general equation Abraham, = c + rR2 sπ2H aα2H bβ2H l L16, at 121 176°C shows that new phase has considerable hydrogen-bond acidity. Poole,ΔGsSOLN(X) ΔGsCAV+DISP (X) ΔGsINT (X), was also 121°C. It shown terms (rR2 bβ2H) -ΔGsINT (X)/RT agreed within 0.12 unit total interaction effect 23 solutes. Likewise, combined cavity plus dispersion (c L16) -ΔGsCAV+DISP 0.11 same is concluded are entirely compatible and, indeed, yield essentially qualitative quantitative results.
