摘要: Abstract - A microwave-assisted hydrothermal (MAH) method was employed to synthesize TiO 2 nanotubes (TNTs) and these were compared the conventional (CH) method. The characterized for their crystallinity, morphology, surface area photocatalytic activity. P25 used comparison purposes efficiently degraded both dyes. However, methylene blue adsorbed on nanotube surfaces, which can be attributed electrostatic interaction between cationic negatively charged TNT surface. On other hand, all had a performance with methyl orange (anionic dye). Additional degradation observed synthesized via MAH at 150 °C. This directly related larger area. Adsorption mechanisms of TNTs also discussed by applying Langmuir Freundlich isotherm. results show an efficient dye wastewater treatmen t through application photocatalyst.
