摘要: Abstract The influence of long-term exposure to hydrogen on the mechanical properties polymers needs be characterized for a reliable design storage or transport facilities. However, tests in atmosphere have been rarely reported. In present study, two possible effects tensile investigated currently used gas i.e. polyethylene (PE) and polyamide 11 (PA11): mechanics-diffusion coupling hydrogen. Tensile (30 bars) atmospheric air at room temperature were compared, as-received materials as well after aging various conditions (pressure, duration). Results showed that was prevalent neither behavior nor microstructure changes. This suggested hydrogen-dedicated parts could based data obtained air, even use.
