摘要: Forty-three consecutive patients with a St Jude mitral, aortic, or combined prosthesis were studied by simultaneous phonocardiography and echocardiography. Twenty-eight had mitral prosthesis, 20 an aortic five both. No opening click was recorded in any patient; however, loud closing all 43 patients. In valve echo-free space separated the two leaflets during diastole; seven of these also mid-diastolic late diastolic reopening motion; associated click. A rumble six 28 St. prosthesis. left atrium leaflet motion 17 indistinguishable appearance from echocardiograms obtained various eccentric monocusp valves. addition, we report one case malfunction paravalvular leak diagnosed echophonocardiography. We concluded that cardiac has variable normal phonocardiographic-echocadiographic patterns. Knowledge patterns is important assessing suspected
