摘要: Three patients with porcine atrioventricular valves (two mitral, one tricuspid) diastolic rumbles and presystolic murmurs are presented. Full hemodynamic angiographic studies demonstrated moderate to severe prosthetic stenosis, even in the patient who was minimally symptomatic. Diastolic across heterografts indicate stenosis until proved otherwise by full studies. If normal function of device a calculated valve area that is small for patient, then it must be recognized hemodynamically ”stenotic” particular (valve prosthesis—patient mismatch).
