摘要: The algal and cyanobacterial flora the chemical environment of six freshwater streams Schirmacher Oasis, Antarctica were investigated. Over 30 species algae, predominantly cyanobacteria (Cyanophyceae), recorded. N2-fixing species, both heterocystous unicellular diazotrophs, contributed more than 50% to counts their dominance was greatest in middle stream where nitrogen other nutrients low. Green algae diatoms also flora. composition varied between streams. Glacial snow drift meltwater contained a distinctive community. Based on diversity indices, these could be classified into two clusters.
