摘要: Epidemiological studies have repeatedly shown that a significant minority of the general population experienced hallucinations, however, potential effect age on prevalence hallucinations in has never been previously examined specific study. The aim present study was thus to examine effects and sensory modality hallucination sample. A large, randomly selected representative sample Norwegian completed measures assessing different modalities (auditory, visual, olfactory, tactile) types (sensed presence hypnagogic/hypnopompic hallucinations). Three groups were identified compared: young (19-30 years), middle (31-60) old (61-96). There main-effect for all types, whereby significantly decreased with age. We also found anxiety partially mediated whilst depression partial suppressor. Concerning co-occurrence modalities, there very little auditory visual three groups. In summary, observed. Furthermore, individuals reported more diverse variety compared what is commonly clinical populations.
