摘要: A moderate malignant hyperthermia developed in a Labrador Retriever anaesthetized with isoflurane for femoral shaft fracture repair. Signs of included progressive increases PETCO2 and rectal temperature up to 39.8 degrees C, tachycardia, cyanosis, elevated serum levels potassium, inorganic phosphorus, AST, CK alkaline phosphatase. Treatment initiated the early recovery period consisted hyperventilation 100% oxygen, stomach lavage iced water, body surface cooling, intravenous administration cold isotonic saline solution. Cooling was continued until had dropped 37.3 C. After treatment dog recovered uneventfully. Clinical signs, pathophysiology, therapy, prevention its association other disorders are discussed.
