摘要: The work was carried out to get information how use wasted biomass, particularly waste woods, as a raw material for fine and advanced carbon products. A phenol-starch-formaldehyde resin synthesized by using phenol of which one third replaced cornstarch model wood. spun, stabilized finally carbonized at 900°C. commercial novolac-type phenol-formaldehyde used reference. There no essential difference in the microscopic structures between fibers derived from resins, but former showed some disadvantages against latter: is poor spinnability result thick irregular fibers, another formation macropores resulting leading low mechanical strength. These are thought be caused remaining MgO particles neutralization agent synthesis resin. possibility achieve final purpose discussed briefly.
