摘要: All reference strains described as representing separate serovars belonging to the serogroup Pomona and a clinical leptospiral isolate (LP2) from this were analyzed using battery of 9 monoclonal antibodies, pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) arbitrarily primed polymerase chain reaction (AP-PCR). Monoclonal antibody analysis provided taxonomic results which in agreement with current classification into six allowed LP2 serovar pomona. PFGE AP-PCR, although general analysis, also able demonstrate some differences restriction patterns Pomona, Monjakov CB. These indicate that these strains, grouped within pomona after introduction bacterial endonuclease typing method, but formerly (pomona, monjakov cornelli, respectively), are similar not identical one another. This was case 5621, mozdok strain, K1, dania currently recognized be mozdok-like strain. findings suggest deletion namely mozdok, dania, should reconsidered. Thus, appears useful tool for identification leptospires shedding light on problem their classification.
