摘要: Extensive renewable power generation growth has increased the research effort in converter technology. To improve quality such applications, it is desirable to interface system with multilevel inverter (MLI) instead of traditional two/three-level inverters. The conventional MLIs however need isolated dc sources higher switch count. address this issue, paper presents a novel reduced switched-diode module MLI (SDM MLI). proposed SDM designed using n basic repeating units and half-bridge module. This enables produce 4n+5 voltage levels 2n+3 at output. In view count, source blocking voltage, loss, design cost, topologies are compared. Selective harmonic elimination (SHE) technique used control seventeen-level MLI. MATLAB/SIMULINK platform for extensive simulation dynamic environment. Furthermore, under different modulation indices, change frequency load conditions, theoretical simulated findings validated experimentally on prototype developed laboratory.
