摘要: The ability to use trajectory forms as visual information about events was tested. A form is defined the variation in velocity along a path of motion. In Experiment 1, we tested detect differences between simulations freely swinging pendulum and handmoved pendulum. trajectoryform symmetric around midpoint, whereas hand moved not. 2, isolated by varying amplitudes while holding their periods constant. Straight versions harmonic from 1 were 3, sensitivity symmetrical peakening or flattening forms. Participants detected small all three experiments. 4, identify specific based only on Participantswere able four different events. We investigated properties that might potentially be used information, found curvature yielded good results.
