Token reinforcement therapy: A comparison of matched groups

摘要: Abstract A token economy program was established in a ward housing 55 chronic, male, psychiatric patients. control group, matched for age, diagnosis and length of hospitalization an identical the same hospital. The groups were compared on behavior rating scales, participation instrumental role activities, self care behavior, extra-hospital visits. Follow-up data at 6 12 months indicated significant improvement scales as well greater activities experimental subjects. Implications limitations these findings discussed.
