摘要: Abstract: The Canton Tower (CT) is a super-tall structure with total height of 610 m. To ensure the safety and serviceability this landmark during construction operation, sophisticated long-term structural health monitoring (SHM) system consisting more than 700 sensors 16 types has been designed implemented for real-time at both in-construction in-service stages. It provides unique engineering paradigm assessing mega-structures using sensory technology, test-bed an SHM benchmark study structures use real-world data. This chapter describes design, implementation, management life-cycle system, integration vibration control renewable energy technology deployed on CT. data from CT ten typhoons earthquakes (including recent devastating Great East Japan Earthquake) are presented, problem instrumented being host outlined.
