摘要: Abstract This paper presents the results of a case study analysis from knowledge domains vulnerability and resilience. We analyzed 20 scientific assessments to provide empirical evidence for successes failures in collaborative production, i.e., joint creation reports by researchers decision makers policy practice. It became clear that latter typically use insufficiently research-based available produce is directly usable. found number functional, structural, social factors inhibiting problem identification framing producers potential users: divergent objectives, needs, scope, priorities; different institutional settings standards, as well differing cultural values, understanding, mistrust. Combining understanding multiple sources providing mechanisms linking solutions proposed research with articulated needs problems practitioners would reduce discrepancies activities actors result more timely context-appropriate solutions. In concluding section we argue locally embedded socially contingent production actionable make suggestions about ways enhance effectiveness knowledge.
