摘要: Purpose This prospective, controlled split-mouth study evaluated the stability of dental implants placed in augmented mandibular areas with alveolar segmental “sandwich” osteotomies using nonceramic hydroxyapatite (ncHA) or autogenous bone. Material and Methods This included 11 bilaterally partially edentulous patients a design. Alveolar augmentation were performed interpositional ncHA graft (test group) intraoral bone (control group). After 6 months healing, four (two each side) patient. Forty-four inserted loaded after 6-month healing period. At 1-year follow-up, radiographic, prosthetic, resonance frequency analysis parameters assessed. Success criteria absence pain, sensitivity, suppuration, implant mobility; continuous peri-implant radiolucency; distance between shoulder first visible contact (DIB) < 2 mm. Results After loading period, overall survival rate was 95.45%, two losses (one Among surviving (42 out 44), did not fulfill success criteria; therefore, 90.90%. DIB 0.71 ± 0.70 0.84 ± 0.72 mm for grafts, respectively (p > .05). Implant measurements similar groups during 12-month follow-up (p > .05). Conclusion Within limits this study, either sites seem to represent safe successful procedure, at least, follow-up.
