摘要: Hybrid Simulation (HS) is the application of two or more simulation techniques (e.g., ABS, DES, SD) in a single M&S study. Distinct from HS, Modelling (HM) defined as combined approaches (including HS) with methods and broader OR/MS literature also across disciplines. In this paper, we expand on unified conceptual representation classification hybrid M&S, which includes both HS (Model Types A-C), models (D, D.1) cross-disciplinary (Type E), assess their innovation potential. We argue that model types associated HM D.1, its focus research, are particularly well-placed driving theory practice M&S. Application these innovative methodologies will lead to space new stakeholder engagement, modelling, system representation, V&V, experimentation, etc. identified.
