摘要: Abstract Mechanisation came early to clinical chemistry and has passed through a number of phases. Selective multichannel machines, usually discrete analysers with their associated mechanical complexities, have become popular; the simplicity reliability flow been lost. Flow injection offers new opportunities develop simple selective machines. Sample waste is avoided in controlled-dispersion analyser; slug sample picked up by probe, volume being metered peristaltic pump driven stepping motor under computer control. Reagent similar system use merging zones. Very economical operation thus possible acceptable precision attained. Various features technique, including prolonged incubation, kinetic methods minimise need for blanks, application different detectors are discussed context assays. Anomalous behaviour particulate matter streams changing shape slugs stationary described. The flow-injection systems extremely promising.
