摘要: The main subject of this article is to describe some possible prescriptions for realizing optical microcavity devices. Optical microcavities are resonators that have at least one dimension on the order a single wavelength. In these structures, materials’ light emission properties greatly altered compared those in such large sized cavities as used conventional laser oscillators. Thus, even though we not much concerned with advanced quantum electrodynamics cavity, understanding essential physics really important. Here, simplified discussions mainly developed within framework Fermi golden rule, from device design application point view. We put stress basics controlling spontaneous and oscillation rather than material aspects semiconductor lasers. will see ultralow power consumption emitting devices very simple, simultaneously, there practical problems be solved high performance
