摘要: ABSTRACT This work deals with impact toughening of semi-crystalline and amorphous polyethylene terephtalate by the addition core-shell elastomer particles. Two types particles, differing reactivity their shell, are compared. Specimen analysed using a combination various experimental techniques. Essential fracture allows discriminating energy dissipation processes. Izod tests allow to estimate efficiency toughening. TEM observations characterise dispersion damage Real time light backscattering tensile comparing level moment occurrence cavitation. Provided that loading conditions highly tri-axial, particles able significantly toughen PET, especially in case where reactive shell is used. Semicrystalline PET appears be more demanding as far modifier-matrix interface concerned. Comparing results mechanical characterisations analysis proposing scheme for process.
