摘要: Poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) and acrylate rubber (ACM) were solution blended in nitrobenzene, a common solvent, at 160°C. The blend film (50/50 weight ratio) was heated 300°C for different times to induce trans-esterification reaction between the two components extent of characterized by i.r. spectroscopy. effects on thermal, dynamic mechanical tensile properties blends studied. results confirm possibility trans-reaction PET ACM up 45 min, after which degradation phases is predominant. Better support situ compatibilization via trans-reaction, increases adhesion interface.
