摘要: Untargeted metabolomics is now widely recognized as a useful tool for exploring metabolic changes taking place in biological systems under different conditions. By its nature, this highly interdisciplinary field of research, and mastering all the steps comprised pipeline can be challenging task, especially those researchers new to topic. In tutorial, we aim provide an overview most adopted methods performing LC-HRMS-based untargeted samples. A detailed protocol provided Supplementary Information rapidly implementing basic screening workflow laboratory setting. This tutorial covers experimental design, sample preparation analysis, signal processing data treatment, and, finally, analysis interpretation. Each section accompanied by up-to-date literature guide readers through optimization such workflow, well practical information avoiding or fixing some frequently encountered pitfalls.
