摘要: Through health promotion campaigns, literacy has become a vital factor in determining population's terms of the macro view health. Since 1990s, concept been increasingly valued American circles. Health not only means understanding medical information, but also implies degree to which individuals have capacity obtain, process, and understand basic information services needed make appropriate decisions. There are three instruments for estimating individuals' literacy, including Rapid Estimate Adult Literacy Medicine (REALM) , Short-Test Functional Adults (Short-TOFHLA) National Assessment (NAAL). Literature review reveals that is an important indicator evaluating effectiveness education program 21st century. The author suggests nurses adopt such strategies as designing educational materials prompt introspection, using range Internet technologies community empowerment conduct programs, order improve clients' raise programs.
