摘要: In this review, we aimed to outline the clinical and pathological conditions for which multidetector computed tomography coronary angiography (MDCT-CA) should be preferred method because of its advantages over conventional (CCA). A consistent body literature suggests that MDCT-CA is more than just complementary CCA it provides valuable diagnostic information in certain situations, such as complex artery variations, aorto-ostial lesions, follow-up bypass grafts, myocardial bridging, fistulas, aortic dissections, cases ostia cannot cannulated by a catheter massive atherosclerosis or extremely tortuous vascular structures.
