摘要: Purpose To determine whether corneal tissue can be conserved with wavefront-guided ablation compared to conventional surgery a larger zone for attempted prevention of glare and halo. Setting Department Ophthalmology, Ilsan Paik Hospital, Inje University, Korea. Methods This prospective study was composed 2 parts: First, 40 eyes 20 patients were studied optical could beneficial in after laser situ keratomileusis (LASIK) surgery. One eye each patient treated 6.00 mm zone, the other 6.25 zone. Second, 10 higher-order root mean square (RMS) value 0.3 or greater evaluated learn as effective ablation. by LASIK All analyzed WASCA analyzer (Carl Zeiss Meditec) preoperatively, 1 month 3 months Results Higher-order aberrations including coma, spherical aberration, RMS statistically significantly increased both High-order comaer-and aberration increased. However, coma did not show significant increase between pre-LASIK post-LASIK wavefront-ablated Conclusion Wavefront showed less regardless smaller finding might provide clinical clue an advantage from standpoint conservation.
