Artifact reduction using reliability reasoning for image generation of FTV

摘要: In this paper, we present a new view synthesis method in multiview camera configurations of Free viewpoint TV (FTV) where potential depth errors are considered. The emphasis is on the artifacts eliminating for photorealistic especially near object boundaries. contrast to conventional techniques which ignore geometry errors, first categorize artifact cases and modes. Furthermore, paper infers complementarity principle from left right references. This guarantees effectiveness our reliability-based synthesis. reliability reasoning crucial reduction. reliable unreliable areas different views can be correctly labeled. Then caused by pixels one reference replaced other reference. As final result, novel demonstrated significantly reduced sequences.
