摘要: BACKGROUND: Regulation of reproduction is now considered to be carried out by the kisspeptin and its receptor, GPR54 or Kiss1r. Mutations either Kiss1 Kiss1r in humans mice result profound hypogonadotropic hypogonadism. The present study was aimed determine whether levels are associated with male infertility. METHODOLOGY: involved 176 subjects aged 18 – 50 years including 26 fertile 150 infertile. Infertile were further subdivided according WHO guidelines semen analysis into 22 asthenozoospermia, 08 asthenoteratozoospermia, azoospermia, 58 normozoospermia, 06 oligozoospermia, 12 oligoasthenozoospermia oligoasthenoteratozoospermia. Thorough clinical examinations excluded those suffering from chronic health problems. Serum measured enzyme immunoassay (EIA) follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing (LH) testosterone estimated chemiluminescence assay (CLIA). RESULTS: results have revealed that significantly lower all infertile males as compared males. Significantly low LH observed groups group.
