摘要: Abstract We have isolated and determined the coding sequences of human mouse orthologs rat orphan G-protein-coupled receptor GPR54. Mouse GPR54 are nearly 95% identical to each other, both approximately 85% at amino acid level. Screening agonists for identified several invertebrate neuropeptides RFamide RWamide family that were able activate μM range through Gαq pathway. Substitution analysis showed C-terminal optimal sequence GPR54-activating peptides is Gly-Leu-Arg-Trp-NH2. Northern detected expression in peripheral tissues many regions central nervous system.
