摘要: Mineral carbonation technology (MCT) is a process whereby CO2 chemically reacted with calcium- and/or magnesium-containing minerals to form stable carbonate materials which do not incur any long-term liability or monitoring commitments. potentially attractive sequestration for the permanent and safe storage of CO2. Vast amounts magnesium silicate exist worldwide that may be carbonated, as environmentally harmless product. In this review, number processes under development, such Abo Akademi University (AA) routes, Energy Reactor©, chemical biological catalytic enhancement new carbon capture (CCS) are discussed.
