摘要: Abstract The literature is bereft of information about the age at which infants with Down syndrome (DS) acquire motor skills and percentage that do so by 12 months. Therefore, it necessary to identify difference in age, relation typical infants, were acquired DS them first year life. Infants ( N  = 20)  = 25), both aged between 3 months, evaluated monthly using AIMS. In prone position, a up months was found for acquisition 3rd 16th skill. There who 10th 21st skill (from 71% 7%). supine one month from 7th skill; however, 100% able perform these skills. sitting 1–4 1st 12th skill, ranging 69% 29% 9th 12th. upright 2–3 8th Only 13% no other more complex greater those lower individuals performed prone, positions. None stand without support.
